Everything you'd Expect from a Modern Rayman Game

Rayman Origins is a standard modern-day platformer.
 
I can't say it any clearer than that.
 
If I hadn't been playing it with 2 friends, I never EVER would have beaten it.
 
I'm not saying it wasn't WORTH beating. But for me personally, it wasn't worth beating.
 
I've played tons of platformers over the past 30 years of being a gamer, and these days, I need much more than just a solid platformer to float my boat.
 
If you've never played a platformer before, Rayman Origins will probably blow your mind. But while it is completely solid and has very high production values, it's not really anything very special.
 
The art and the goofy-ass voice acting are the best parts.
 
I would recommend several other platformers before I would recommend Rayman Origins. Yoshi's Island comes to mind. As does Kirby's Epic Yarn.
