Very pretty, but the level design was repeditive. Warthog sucked.

The story was pretty cool, the game was big, and -- for the most part -- the controls were great. Driving vehicles, though, was a pain, and the level design started to get very repeditive about half way through the game. In my opinion, the game isn't as good as all the press (and Microsoft) would have you believe.

It had great multiplayer components such as a two-player co-op story mode (which made the game infinitely more fun), and all sorts of deathmatch modes. You could even link up your Xboxes so you could have a LAN party.

The final level where you had to drive the warthog through a maze of sharp turns. The problem is, the vehicle can't make sharp turns. So, I hated this level.

I enjoyed the story and I look forward to playing the sequel.

Play with a friend or don't bother. Doesn't live up to the hype.
